Score: Cork Constitution FC 25 V 10 Waterpark
Venue: Ballinakill
Date: Fri 30th October 2009
Constitution travelled to Ballinakill on Friday evening and took the spoils with a four try victory over Waterpark. It was their second game of the U21 League campaign, as last week’s game home with Galwegians was deferred.
The teamwork was much improved on their previous outing against Bruff and the forwards in particular were well on top and provided the opportunities for the threequarters to capitalise on.
Full back Robert Clune and wing Conor Desmond scored first half tries for 10-3 lead at the break. Pat O’Donovan got the third try from a well worked maul and Eoin O’Donnell got the touchdown for the bonus point fourth try. Darragh Dunne kicked a penalty and conversion to complete the scoring.
