Constitution and UCC fought out a tough encounter at Temple Hill on Saturday with the home side edging a narrow win to take the points in Phase 2 of the competition.

It was a fine sporting game with little between the sides and where defences came out on top. The home back line threatened to score on a number of occasions but in the end it was the kickers who decided the game. Darragh Dunne was successful with two penalties for Con while John Holland had UCC’s reply.
