Score: Cork Constitution FC 12 V 22 Cobh Pirates
Venue: The Paddocks
Date: Sun 11th October 2009
Constitution were brought back to earth after a successful five match winning sequence. Cobh were strong in the set pieces and competed aggressively around the pitch which upset Con’s basic organisation that had stood them well in the earlier games.
Cobh won the first half decisively and led 19-0 at the break scoring three tries
To their credit Con fought back and scored a try by Rory O’Sullivan and a penalty try converted by Simon Barry. However, they were never going to overturn the Cobh lead
