Score: Cork Constitution FC 34 V 0 Carrigaline
Venue: Moneygourney
Date: Sun 24th January 2010
Constitution and Carrigaline eventually got to play their much postponed league fixture at Moneygourney on Sunday. It was all of five weeks since the teams last lined out, but they made light of their enforced lay-off with a grand display of running football.
Constitution scored six tries without reply from a gallant Carrigaline side. Tadg Buckley opened the scoring and Jack O’Sullivan and Simon Barry added first half tries. Rory O’Sullivan kept up his try scoring average with another brace in the second half and Pat Hughes completed the tally. Simon Barry added two conversions for a clear-cut win.
