Constitution scored eight tries as they defeated a game Highfield side under lights on Saturday evening at Temple Hill before the Hallowe’en parties began.
Captain Tim Kenneally showed the way in the first half with a brace of tries. Simon Zebo and Alex Ryan added two more before the break for a 22-3 lead.
Simon Zebo slid in for his second in the 42nd minute to continue the scoring and Ben Nagle finished from a maul in the 55th minute for 34-3. Michael Keyes and Rob Armstrong combined to set up the best score of the evening by Rogan Gee. Right wing Mark Coughlan completed Con’s tally in the 73rd minute before Highfield got a deserved consolation score just before the finish.
